Arrrgh Ye Ready? Pirate Weekend.com Is Coming To The Newburgh Waterfront!
Raise the anchor and swab the deck! Pirateweekend.com is coming to the Newburgh Waterfront May 31st through June 3rd, 2012.
The Tall Ship HMS Bounty, which has been used in several films and documentaries including; Mutiny on the Bounty, Treasure Island, Yellowbeard, Sponge Bob, Square Pants the Movie, Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Man’s Chest and more, will be available to tour and other activities will include; the The West Point Steel Band, 3 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, June 2nd, afternoon, a showing of; Pirates of the Caribbean, and Mutiny On The Bounty movies, vendors, and a unique atmosphere with visitors dressed as pirates. It is sure to be a “swashbuckling” good time!
Several Waterfront restaurants will be offering a 10% discount for the event (which can be found at PirateWeekend.com). These restaurants include; Akasaka, Billy Joe’s Ribworks, Captain Jake’s River House and The River Grill. Pirate Weekend Flags will be proudly flown infront of these participating restaurants (must provide coupon at time of service).
As a tribute to the wounded men and women from the US Armed Forces, Wounded Warriors can visit PirateWeekend.com and download a coupon for free admission onto the HMS Bounty and will be allowed to go to the head of the line as well as recieve a 10% – 20% Discount at the participating Newburgh Waterfront restaurants. (Wounded Warriors must show the coupon as well as proper ID).
