“The World’s greatest inland waterway system includes the Hudson River, 524 miles of the Erie, Champlain, Oswego and Cayuga-Seneca canals, the Mo-hawk and Oswego Rivers, Oneida, Cayuga and Seneca Lakes, Champlain, the Richelieu River, and the Chambley Canal.
All of these navigable waters with the exception of the Chambley Canal are in or border on New York State and are relatively close to home.
